Justin Hokin, owner of the Mike’s Eats building, confirmed that Silver Star has signed an 18-month lease with a chance to extend in the future. He was excited to promote the independent communications company that offers local service to valley residents by the locally owned outfit.
Hokin had been working with the Teton Arts Council as a possible tenant of the building that has been vacant for years, but ultimately Silver Star got the space. While the communications company will increase its presence on Main Street in the old dining area of Mike’s Eats that used to serve shakes and buffalo burgers back in the 90’s, Hokin said there is still space available in the old kitchen and office for another tenant.
Silver Star plans to set up a Wi-Fi cafe and keep the classic look of the old diner with soda shop tables for patrons to use. Currently undergoing a remodel, Silver Star plans to occupy Mike's Eats by March 1.
